A quick sketch made of plasticine and cast from polyurethane resin. Sketches sketches and sketches again is what I like to do the most. You can do something interesting and unique in a very expressive way with a good beaver of material, tools and a sculpture idea. Here is one of my sketches made of handmade plasticine.
In my sculptures I try to show something different in them, e.g. I wanted this zombie to have its unique idea. Sometimes I want my sculpture to look scary, other times I want them to have a kind of joke. In this bust of zombies, I came up with a broken neck and head turned to the other side. I carved a bust in monster clay and the zombies below are made of polyurethane resin. If you like the sculpture you can find it in the bust-zombie bust 001 category
When designing a character I often think about many things. What material to use for carving, what character to do, how can it look. The idea of creating a zombie eating itself came to my mind quite by accident like most of my ideas. The prototype was made of ordinary plasticine. The sculpture was cast from polyurethane resin and today you can buy it from me in the store. I like this concept of the character and the fact that it is such a sketch. Do you also like quick carved sketches? I will certainly carve many more such terrible zombies. Zombie sketch/full character
